Pathetic service

My son did his first year with Mancosa last year but failed one of his exams which he had to rewrite. He has been checking the app throughout Dec and Jan to see when information would be communicated regarding the supplementary exams but nothing was loaded. I went into the Port Elizabeth branch to enquire about this and the receptionist called the Call Centre for me to speak to. The first lady I spoke to, was extremely arrogant and rude, telling me that she cannot speak to me as I am not the student and that if my son checked the app, he would've seen the information regarding the supplementary exams. I told her that she does not need to be rude and she then put the phone down in my ear. I was so shocked.

We called back and spoke to another lady Lerato who was very friendly and helpful, explained everything in detail about the requirements etc. She explained that she would need to speak to my son to get more information from him which I agreed. She called my son, basically insisting to him that the information was uploaded on the app regarding the supplementary exams which he said was not the case. Even though the supplementary exams are passed, she asked my son if she should email him the supplementary exam time table, for what reason??? What is he meant to do with that.

I am still clueless as to what happened and when registering for his second year, they are requesting him to redo the module and repay for it which I will not do. This is ridiculous when the problem is with Mancosa and not my son.

I was very skeptical about Mancosa from the start because of the negative reviews I have read but still gave them a chance. I am still waiting for a Manager to call me. Pathetic service would be an absolute understatement to say the least.
