NO SHOW LECTURER

I am studying the Advanced Diploma in Business Management and we have had issues with our Operations Management webinars. Not only his articulation and lack of complex and adequate examples but the fact that he has absconded 2 weeks in a row with no prior warning. This all started because we started vocalising our disatisfaction with the quality of the webinars. We had submitted assignments which carry 30% weighting towards our final mark and yet the content was not yet covered in the webinars, etc. While we understad it is distance learning and a lot of self study is required, the webinars must serve a purpose to create value addition, otherwise it is a waste of time and other resources. It seems as though there is no synergy in terms of how different departments communicate with each other and also a serious lack of support from MANCOSA to students in general. We have full time jobs which is already stressful and time consuming. I chose MANCOSA because of their seemingly hands on and quick reactivity but this year has proven everything but.
