Mancosa unfair and insensitive

I had a family health crisis, spouse, minor children and myself got sick from a terrible flu. The situation was exhausting physically, psychologically and emotionally and due to this and the fact that in the process i also got sick myself and couldn't concentrate on assignments i missed assessment deadlines. I submitted medical certificates which clearly shows that from the beginning of May we struggled due to sickness and rendered my explanations to Mancosa but they say according to their rule, the only compelling circumstances are hospitalization and death. This is very unfair considering the viral serious and painful flu we experienced where were experiencing abnormally high fever and the medication made us weak and if you are that sick and also taking care of sick minor children in the process it's too draining. i was too weak, i had to take the medication and recuperate. i couldn't think about anything i was worried about my health and my family; I am not a machine. For days the heart wished to sit and do assignments in time but the body failed to deliver . I wrote emails, phoned to explain and begging Mancosa to open the system so i can submit my assignments now that i am better but they say a big NO!, they say rules rules. Who think of rules when their health is threatened.
