MANCOSA - Playing dangerous psychological mind games with students
I am a student at Mancosa. I am due to write my exam today, but I am refused to write. The institution is not consistent in the reasons they are given me for disallowing me to write today. I was allowed to write two modules prior to the one to be written today. Now they are telling me today that they are governed by rules ,hence I cannot be allowed to write today. My question is: were they not governed by the same rules they are telling me about today when I was allowed to write the first two modules on Friday the 2nd and Monday the 5th of December. The two modules are Advanced Project Management and Project Scope and Scheduling. I have spent time studying for the exam, and halfway through they are changing their minds. This cannot be allowed, playing with student's emotions. This is NOT a game. I have prepared for this exams, spending hours on end, now they are dropping a bomb in the middle of the exam. emotionally and psychological I am so NOT okay. I phoned the institution this morning at 8:16 and stated my problem and I was told to hold the line as is the problem was being attended to. I hold for 41 minutes and 39 seconds, thereafter the call was dropped on their side, no explanation no returned call. Since I know now how unprofessional MANCOSA operates when it comes to student matters, while I was waiting for the response I phoned on the side and the gentlemen whom I spoke to said he was going to call me back in five minutes., that was 8:59 when he promised to call me back. It has been more than 25 minutes now I am still waiting.
I only requested them to sort out the authentication problem so I can write my final paper. Iam already disadvantaged by more than 90 minutes now as the exam started at 8:00 am
