Mancosa communication process is disjointed and money is their main objective
My fees are up to date but I rewrite 2 assessments and 1 exam, and owed around R800. My results got greyed out and I enquired with finance (Delon Gurwon) via email (on 4 October), I asked why grey the results and giving no visibility of current module progress in case of a resubmission and advised that unfortunately I will need to pay the outstanding fees first. I have been periodically logging into the platforms and it has been greyed out, today I logged onto the app and found that I didn't pass my Operations management assignment, all along it was greyed out and when logging the student site I found that the resubmission closed yesterday. I'm over this institute!

25 Oct 2023, 12:02The outcome is that they will open the portal today till 11.59pm so I can resubmit and I'm only getting notified now at 12 midday. The portal is still not open as I type this to you. This institution lacks empathy and have a long way to go with distance learning. If the institutes representative gives me incorrect information, you are expected as a student to verify what they are saying. Join this institute at your own risk. I did my diploma with IMM, I have never had such an issue, their system work efficiently. Communication channels are managed via a dedicated person, who verifies before advising students.

14 Dec 2023, 09:47Good Day, I'm having issue now with my OSAS results, I cant see my results, therefor can't request to re-write. I know I didn't do well on one because I submitted early by mistake. I've been begging Michel'le Poole to please escalate because my fees are paid up it's the resubmission fees that are out standing. I'll be paying more next year when all that is required is a rewrite. I will pay the outstanding resubmission fees on the 21st of December, my fees I paid up for crying out loud.

There are other measures that can be taken to make sure that payment is received, such as withholding the diploma or graduation. Where is the logic in with holding my results when I have to rewrite? Where am I gonna get money to enroll for one module? This is just setting students up for failure. Your staff treat us like this when we are in tight corners, instead of coming up with a solution that will work for everyone, it's just about the institute getting it's money, the students don't matter at all!
