I will like to submit my assignments

I couldn't submit all my assignment because I was very sick. You know nowadays with Covid, we don't just go to hospital unless necessary even though we are very ill. My 2 daughters were sick on 27 August, 1 lost her taste and smell, I knew it's Covid, I also got sick, went to the Doc 2 September, I got treatment from home although I had almost all the symptoms, headaches, sore eyes, fetuge, coughing, fever, going to the toilet was a mission, therefor I couldn't submit my assignment. I went back to the doctor this Tuesday, 21 September because I was still sick although the symptoms are subsiding but you can hear me when I speak, my voice is still gone and the cough still there. I tried to call and explain my situation, but they say I must bring a death certificate or hospital letter, it has to be mitigating situation. I think my situation was mitigating. This is my last year, last semester, on work bursary, I won't just choose not to write all my assignments, I couldn't lift anything nor think, let alone read and write with sore eyes, no energy and terrible headechs. I had covid last year and was admitted in hospital because I had shortness of breath as well, this time I had all symptoms except shortness of breath and Dr didn't admit me in hospital. I've asked to appeal this decision but they say it's their policy. Can the policy be looked at, times have changed, I think the policy was created before covid. I will like to appeal to Mancosa to give me a second chance to submit my assignments. Please have mercy
