DO NOT REGISTER WITH MANCOSA FOR MBA - HORRIBLE SERVICE

I regret the day I registered for an MBA with MANCOSA!!! If there was a way to rate them -100, I definitely would! I have never dealt with such bad service from lecturers and it seems like all the lecturers are non-South Africans. I am not a finance person and will hardly need the deep financial management stuff in the future because of my line of work. But due to the nature of an MBA programme, I am expected to take Financial Management module - bear in mind that I have never taken any FM courses before in my life. I paid my 1st year fees fully upon registration and I was expecting so much from the institution seeing that this programme doesn't come cheap! I didn't do well on both my assessments and when I requested that they at least give me an idea of what I did wrong - I was told that they cannot do that as it will be the same as giving me the correct answers. This is after the 2nd attempt submission date has already closed by the way! I’m highly disappointed about how MANCOSA handles assessments feedback. Surely they could give us comprehensive feedback once the resubmission dates of the assessments have passed so that their feedback can assist us in preparing for the OSA? “Revisit calculations on the script” is just not constructive feedback and it’s worrying that the MANCOSA think it’s sufficient to assist students in improving going forward. On the other hand, when lecturers do not even bother to answer your questions when you post on the forum! They do a couple of online workshops and that is the end of interaction with the module co-ordinators and lecturers! I am so frustrated right now because I continuously asked for assistance and to be connected with the lecturer or tutor but I did not get any assistance from MANCOSA. Now I have to retake the FM module because I did not meet the requirements! I now have to cough up 14k to retake a module that I could've possibly passed if MANCOSA was transparent in their markings and assessment feedback! This is the worst institution by far! I am fuming because it's the first time in my life that I have to repeat a module/subject and I know for a fact that I had a chance in passing this module if MANCOSA was attentive to students' requests.

Please do yourselves a favour - DO NOT DO YOUR MBA WITH MANCOSA! Now I am stuck with them until I finish my qualification.

PS - to anyone reading this, please advise if there a legal route I can take on this matter, seeing that I am in this mess because MANCOSA lecturer failed to give comprehensive feedback that could possibly assist in me getting a better mark and the fact that they were not helpful at all when I asked for assistance throughout the semester?
