Bad service and inefficiency of staff members
I am a graduate from the university of Johannesburg who studied a National Diploma in Banking majoring with Economics, Accounting and Banking. I went to the department of education just to confirm if I can study PGCE they said yes because my diploma is for 3years and it has 360 credits then I went and to Mancosa website to check if I can Study with them then I saw that I qualify then I called the university as well before I can do the application they said yes they take diploma for PGCE. I did my application on the 2rd of February 2021 to study for 2021 they allocated a guy called Lubabalo Tanzi the guy never called me until one day I decided to call and find out he that was when he checked my application said to me I don’t qualify and asked him why? He said I have teaching subjects but I have a diploma so the department of education said they must not take a diploma. I phone the department of education to find out and they said if is a 3years diploma with 360 credits and with teaching subjects I qualify. I’m very much disappointed in how the Mancosa staff members are not well trained, prior to my application I called to find out and consultant Mancosa website and it said they can take a diploma why am I now getting different outcome and the guy never bother to communicate with me? I called other university like varsity college, UJ, UNISA and UCT, they do take National Diploma as long as it has 360 credits, is 3years and have teaching subjects. This rule of not taking a not taking a diploma apply to Mancosa only? If so why is your website saying a different story? My very disappointed I lost all my trust on this university
