Student Services are non existent - no one will respond to your queries although they promise a 24hr respond time.

Marking and Assessments are very inconsistent. You will receive low marks even when you know you did well and there is no way to query except to request a remark at a cost of R250, after which you will receive the same result.

If you're a high performing student, you will pass but you wont get the results you expect. If you're average, rather stay away - you will fail and waste your money. Although I passed with 4 Distinctions, I know I should have received 2 more.

The one answer paper I have requested a remark for, I have a copy of and I will submit to an independent institution for assessment. It does not make sense to get 100% for assignments and get 50% for exams. You need to have a thorough understanding of the material to get 100% for assignments and if you apply the same for exams you should get a much higher result.

Whilst the enrolment part will be quite enthusiastic because they want your business, the support is appalling.

The Positives/Rest: Study materials are good, but the quality of dispensation of the content via webinars is average to below average. 1 lecturer was excellent, 2 or 3 were good and the rest are just robots going through slides.

The lack of having group discussions is a also a serious disadvantage in academic learning and you will definitely not gain maximum benefit for actual workplace application of your knowledge.

There is also a serious disconnect between the knowledge of the scope of the content to be covered, between the lecturer and the institution.

I'm glad it's over, but never again with this institution! If your employer is paying your fees or it's sponsored and you just need the qualification, then the tradeoff might be ok.
