Assignment not received

I submitted an assignment on the portal and it showed as submitted on my side but I got concerned when some time went by and I did not receive a confirmation email, I then called the school and they said the assignment shows as viewed but not submitted on their side, I tried to log a query so many times but this issue still isn’t solved. I ended up being told that I need to re-register as the assignment did not go through, as a first time student with the institution I am not happy about this, just being told the assessments department can’t assist, it seems like I have to take the blame for technical issues, I used to recommend the school but now I don’t think I will anymore
