BE CAREFUL - DO NOT BOOK

We were extremely disappointed when we got to the property, based on the pictures and videos on Instagram and Facebook. I contacted the WhatsApp number the morning, advising them that we will be travelling from Barrydale and leaving there at 9am. I asked if everything was still okay due to the rain, the lady said yes. The 3 ladies that worked there was lovely and friendly, met us in Tulbagh because we couldn't find the place. When we turned into the road, I was already concerned, as the property was not as secured. We had to walk in the mud and park the car outside the property. The "glamping pods" were not worth R 2000 per night, i paid R 3600 altogether. They made us choose a pod, there were only 2. When we were inside the pod, we were told the electricity was off from the day before, the pump therefore could not work and we therefore couldn't get water to wash ourselves, or warm water. The treatment pods had a staircase and to have to walk to it in cold weather, wasn't going to be helpful, as muscles would be tense. I couldn't see a waterfall. My partner and I had concerns, no mobile signal, no electricity, no warm water and advised that that we would prefer to leave. I have written them emails, send Whatsapp, all with no response.
