It was a loan application ****. They are registered with NCR which I checked before applying.

They demanded an upfront payment of R3500.00. I requested banking details and made the payment to Miss Meadow A Pillay account. After the payment done I was told there’s an Intermediary credit screening fee of R 5660. I requested to stop application due to lack of communication. I was expected to pay R1500 to cancel for my refund of R3500 that would take 7Day. I was further threatened legal action for demanding my money back & sent letter
The Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) is South Africa’s national authority responsible for receiving financial data, conducting analysis, and disseminating financial intelligence to competent authorities. It has come to the attention of the Financial Intelligence Centre that a transfer of R55,500.00 was initiated to (bank- account number ) in favor of the mentioned beneficiary. This transfer was made following an investigation initiated on 20th JAN 2026 (your loan approval date) contrary to Article 102, Section 36, Subsection IV of the 1996 Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act (BOFID), which prohibits transactions without clearance related to credit scores, this transfer was made without consulting this agency for official credit score clearance. Therefore, this transfer is deemed unconditional and ******* by this agency. As a result, the transfer has been halted until proper clearance is obtained. To release this transfer , you are required to upgrade.
I gave her a chance to pay back the money before I proceed the SAPS, NCR complaint & bank flag. She ignored my communication.
