Maltos - poor quality food, service even worse

Disappointing Experience at Malto’s Greek Restaurant, Sun City Hotel

We dined at Malto’s Greek Restaurant at the Sun City Hotel as a family group of 17. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected for a family night out.

Our issues began with the kids’ pizzas, which took nearly 45 minutes to arrive. When they finally did, the pizzas were sticky on the inside, with an off-putting texture that resembled Vaseline. After raising our concerns with the manager, we were told the cheese quality was poor, but by then, most of the kids had already eaten part of their meal, leaving us with little recourse.

The problems didn’t stop there. The lamb rolls we ordered were dry and stale, and the lamb chops were tough and underdone. When we brought this up with Raymond, the manager on duty, he acknowledged the poor quality of the lamb and the cheese but seemed indifferent to the bigger issue—that our entire dining experience was ruined by the substandard food.

In summary, the food was terrible, and the service left much to be desired. I would strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. Save yourself the disappointment.
