Probably the worst mall to visit in Gauteng: Terrible Traffic and Congestion (bad flow-design) and Non-functioning pay-point equipment (long, long queues and wasted time)

Probably the worst mall to visit in Gauteng, in terms of:

1) traffic and congestion (this is the third or fourth time I’ve experienced this) - in short: whoever worked-on or designed the parking spaces, entry points & traffic flow dynamics made a huge ‘*****-up’!!! Ridiculous!!! Took me 35min this afternoon (26th July 2025 at about 1pm just to enter the mall entrance!!! Extremely frustrating and spoiled our family experience!!). We have now decided as a family to exclude The Mall of Africa from our weekend outings/shopping locations!

2) Parking ticket payment points not functional and too few per floor!! Shocking disregard for customers!! Parked on the 2nd floor - when I went to the pay point (only one at entrance 8), I discovered that it was ‘out-of-order’. When I went upstairs, there was a single pay-point only with a queue of about 20-25 people. THE most frustrating shopping experience ever!!

If you plan on having a ‘nice relaxing’ day out with the family - give this mall a skip!!
