Horrible parking lot experience

18 May 2023 at 09:30 I went into mall of africa. When I wanted to leave at 12:45 it was a nightmare. I inserted my ticket and the boom was opening up and down. I couldn’t get out. As there was a long queue I went back parked and went to the machine trying to call. I pressed the help button 6 times no answer. I went up, I saw a security asked for help, he said he was on lunch and I must ask another one of which he pointed. I went to the second one, he told me to go call again in the machine. It did not help, I spent 30 minutes trying to get out of the mall. I finally went out being assisted by the guy behind me. I must say it was a horrible experience and I was so worried my tyres will get spiked and boom gate hitting my car. Since there is so many complains about this I am glad to say it was my last time at that mall.
