Greedy parking rates produce massive queues

<p>After a quick in and out at checkers I faced a 12 minute queue. I was to pay R7 even for this short visit, made up predominantly of queueing to pay parking. I was R1 short in change and the machines only accept silver coinage. Multiple 50c coins proved useless. I presented the machine with a R50 note which it repeatedly rejected. I then presented my credit card which I was instructed to remove and insert multiple times and to no avail. I returned to my car to fetch a R1 coin only to face another lengthy queue. The machine finally accepted my coin payment and we were on our way only to be faced by another queue at the exit where two cars weren't allowed to exit for whatever reason. The queue extended far into the parking area. </p> <p> </p> <p>I see very little compelling about Mall of Africa and this parking nightmare makes any other mall seem more desirable.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
