Beautiful Place if only well managed and maintained. There’s no Wi-Fi, no breakfast.

Booked this accommodation for a family reunion over the long weekend, for more than 40 people. Unfortunately we did not do our homework & booked before reading the older reviews. Nothing was as it seemed in the pictures or in the description. The place was dry, dusty & unkept. Rooms were fairly clean and comfortable. However, just about everything required extra effort… electricity was unreliable even without loadshedding. In my room the main lights didn’t work, only the bedside lamps. Most of our rooms in some blocks were without water for two days. We shared remotes for the air on & tv (the rooms that had). The couches in the rooms were torn, the wall light fittings had black marks, showing electrical faults. The kettle was tied to the table with old water in it, so it was a mission to rinse it & fill it, when there was water. The on-site manager was not available after hours but very busy during the day, inviting herself to our drinks and snacks. The kitchen fridges and freezes were filthy and literally falling apart. They knew we were a big group and we asked if we could use their catering facility- but nothing was working or clean. The cheaply welded park benches bent easily & one broke. The pool had no water on our arrival & with much complaining it was filled halfway by the Sunday and a bit more by the time we left, but no water in some blocks till an hour before our departure. The other staff on the premises did not know anything about anything and referred us to the lady who drank and asked for sweets etc as she walked around promising to attend to our numerous requests.
