BEWARE OUT THERE - **** TYRES

Fitted a set of new NEXEN tyres around November 2014 on a vehicle with around 15000kms on the clock. As I stay relatively close to work I do on average 30kms a day. I heard what I initially thought was a wheel bearing noise and booked the car in with the Dealership for a check. I was advised that the problem was not the bearings but that the tyres have FLAT SPOTS and this is where the UNBEARABLE NOISE comes from. This after only driving ?10000kms on the tyres. I was told by the salesman that there is nothing they can do as the supplier of NEXEN inferior quality tyres do not supply them anymore. Talk about **** aftersales service to a loyal customer for over 8 years? Instead of taking the matter up with the supplier I was told to rather buy a new set of tyres at a discount - After the discount the new set is still more expensive than what I initially paid... phfew like I will buy tyres from them again after this experience. I now have no other option but to seek legal advice as well as recourse from the Consumer Protection Act.<br> <br> PS: DONT BUY TYRES FROM THESE RIPP-OFF's WITH POOR AFTERSALES SERVICE
