Malagueta - worst experience ever
So yesterday we went to Malagueta for about the 20th time....seriously we have spent thousands there over the past couple of years, and what we received there was shocking. At this point let me say that the second or third last time we were there my wife ordered Salmon and veggies which we shared, and we both had very bad tummies ( something tasted sour). Be that what it may, accidents happen and the kids love the jungle gym. I took my mom who is on her 70s, not well and visiting from overseas for a very short time, and my daughter's for lunch. Her steak was great but my prawns were seriously the worst I've ever eaten. I am not one to complain about food - this is the first time ever. Anyway, I just mentioned to the waiter that the prawns were horrible. Then we asked for the bill and there was a problem with the card machine....fine, things happen. The waiter / manager disappears for another 10 minutes and I go and say can I eft. By now the.woman owner had arrived and instead of being professional, she mumbles in such an irritated voice "it's not my fault" and walks off!! I then got very irritated and said this is bulls#hit and i was going to write on social media about this. On our way out, this person comes to stand at the door and glare at us (again a 74 year old sick woman, 12 and 7 year old girls and myself). I walk past her and say " after that you just say it's not your fault?" and she starts to belittle me in front everyone saying shame, are you ok, shame. I got just as irritated at her utter unproffesionalism and give the sarcasm straight back to her. Her husband (it seems )shouts from across where he is sitting" go on social media- I will sue you"! The wife then insinuates how drunk I am (I drank one beer and the waiter brought another without me asking ( just doing his job). , half of which remained in the glass as I didn't want it. My mom drank water and nothing else. This person at the front desk said in such a condescending way, in front of my kids, should I call you an UBER and proceeded to take pics of my daughter as we left. She was insinuating how drunk i was to cover her own backside - I must have been paraletic after one and a half Stellas and a few glasses of water in the 2.5 to 3 hours we sat there. My daughter was so freaked out by this individual taking a picture of her and I will not accept it. As we were leaving the husband yelled from his table " go to #papachinos ! I called my attorney when we left there and we will be meeting to discuss this further. #Malagueta that was the worst experience I have ever had eating out and reading the other reader comments, I see I am not alone!
