Wrongful Advertising
I saw an adverti*****t by makro it read Buy 2x750ml Johnnie Walker Black Label Scotch Whisky + 1x750ml Johnnie Walker - White Walker and pay R650.00. Promotion ends 31 December 2020. So I contacted them via email to see where I could get this deal as they call it. I live in kzn so they emailed me saying it's available at Springfield. When I phoned Springfield they said they don't have it. I then enquired to buy it online and to my shock they rep**** saying that they took the adverti*****t offline. This is false advertising to draw customers to the stores but they have no stock. Even online too they say nothing available now. Why advertise then. This is totally wrong.
