WRONG PRODUCT DELIVERED DUE TO OUT OF STOCK

I would have loved to give a zero star rating because 1 star is a compliment. I am very disappointed in the delivery that was done. I ordered online and what I ordered was not what I received and without contacting me someone at Makro just decided to send me something else due to out of stock reasons. When I enquired about returning it to a store I was told that the item was not eligible for an in-store return, as it was fulfilled by a third-party supplier and that the return needs to be done online . So now the return must be initiated online and only once the return has been logged, the item will be collected from me and will take approximately 4 working days. This whole situation could have been avoided if I was notified of the out of stock product. I am definitely not happy right now as this was a birthday gift and now a total disaster due to someone deciding to send me something I didn't order :-(
