Wrong Delivery, cant rectify because they cant get a hold of the PE branch
Ordered a bicycle for an 8 year old boy. They delivered a pink bicycle for a girl. Have been on the phone to the call centre about 7 times to try and rectify, and it is still not rectified. we are now a week after the initial (wrong) delivery and the Head office cant get a hold of the PE branch to rectify. This is seriously what we are dealing with, the phone at the PE branch just rings and because of this, they cant assist me. What kind of business cant get a hold of one of their branches?

Nthabiseng who is a Team Leader promised a manager (Tshepo I think the name is) would call me at 11:30, no call back was received. I then called back at 12:30. Spoke to Nthabiseng again who said she had given my details to the manager to call me after the first call but he just didn't. She put me on hold to find him, somebody came on the call to say that Nthabiseng and her manager were talking and I would be put through to him (Tshepo). They then put the phone down on me, after holding for 40 minutes.
What a shame that something as simple as a call centre to run makes the whole of Makro look like they have no clue what they're doing.

It took Makro 2 weeks to figure out the bike was out of stock. What an absolute clown show. From Nthabiseng the Team Leader to Tshepo the manager of the call centre, every one of them lacks client service and willingness to assist. If I were an Exec at Makro, this would be the first place I would look to improve the business.
