Worst Online Shopping System-MAK283832

<p>I placed and paid my online order with Makro on 02 December as a birthday gift for 10 December. I was promised delivery within 2-5working days so no problem as it would be in time. However on the 5th day i called the online centre and after holding on for more than half an hour got hold of someone. This only to be told that they do not have any more stock. Why would my order be taken if there weren't stock in the first place and why didn't someone picked up the phone and atleast informed me about this? I spoke to Lerato the Customer Service Manager who promised that she would get back to me. Today is the 18th of December and still didn't get a call from her nor can i get through to anyone after numerous calls and still waiting for my order. On top of this pathetic service i had to pay an extra R55 delivery fee which is non existent. Makro shouldn't make promises they can't fulfill. Not only was I disappointed in this service but i had to disappoint someone else just because Makro couldn't deliver. This is the first and the last time i will be shopping at Makro Online.</p>
