Worst Customer Care Ever

I recently (8th of September) purchased a Sinotec 49" FHD TV from the Silver Lakes branch. Fast forward to this weekend, where I finally realize that it's not my raspberry pi, laptop or 2 HDMI cables that's making these odd lines all over my screen, but in fact the TV itself.

After roughly 5 hang ups from their head office, I get told to phone the Silver Lakes branch directly. After dealing with an inconceivably rude person on the other end of the line, telling me to "bring it in" and then proceeding to hang up the phone, I try yet again.

Person B, being slightly friendlier, takes all my details, but then when it came to giving them the serial number (the purpose of which they couldn't explain to me), and me not being able to provide it from my office, 30km away from home, I get told they can't do anything until I send them the serial number.

I finally get the serial number, send an email *specifically* stating that they must let me know if they cannot make it at 16:00 that afternoon, and, yet again, hear nothing back.

Phoned them at 15:00 to find out what's going on - wanting to talk to the manager, they told me they'd phone me back shortly. After phoning again at 16:00, finally get to talk to Patricia (the only friendly and helpful person in this whole saga). She informs me that they did receive my mail at the call centre, and that Verushka (perhaps another name, I'm unsure exactly) would get back to me ASAP. It's now 10:30, and after having phoned twice to speak to this person, I'm resorting to social networks. Apparently the larger companies like yourselfs don't bother with anything outside the public eye.

I expect a phone call ASAP, and a replacement of *2 month old* R5k TV that packed up literally after a month of having it.

It's also ridiculous to me that you guys can be so arrogant over the phone, useless with your customer care and nonchalant about your customers themselves, this close to the holiday season. Never ever buying anything from Makro again.
