Worse service ever with no delivery as committed yet no answers or concern to assist your customers

If I could rate negative stars I would as there should be options for just how poor and disappointing your reviews are of a business and service

I have placed a order online with Makro on the 6 of November for a item that was due to be delivered the 12 November and till today has yet to be delivered

Firstly the website does not inform you if this items or stock is in Cape Town and secondly the website does not update at all or have follow up information or even courtesy of correspondence to keep you informed as a paying customer

I am disgusted to have to say I spent numerous times on a call being told that I need to contact the courier since this parcel is in Johannesburg and to make it even more aggravating when I had done so I was told that the courier attempted picking the parcel up two days in a row and the third party was not contactable or available to hand over this parcel

How exactly is this a great service rendered if I the customer needs to call Makro a huge company to ask what is going on with my delivery only to be told that they have contact information for the third party all they can do is escalate this yet no guarantee of when I get my parcel and also option to cancel and wait 7 days for my refund

Makro I have never had such pathetic customer service nor have I ever had to place any orders online with no information as to where my goods are and not be informed of updates

I am still waiting for a response of two escalations yet no supervisor is conveniently available to assist me I keep getting an agent who clearly speaks over me and says I apologise and I will have to wait

I will never be purchasing from this business again and this is definitely how you will lose customers especially for the first time I chose to use your online service

Disgusted by the poor service, poor communication and utter disregard of money customers waste with time on your useless site

As far as I am concerned you might as well shut this website down because I could have walked into a store and purchase if I had known I would be sitting with such a hassle running after a big business who cares about nothing but sales because once you receive that payments so easily for products online you clearly don’t give a damn what happens after

Worse experience ever and will never recommend this business instead I will suggest avoiding these services
