Why you should NEVER buy from Makro

I purchased a Samsung TV from Makro which turned out to be defective within a year of purchase. Rather than Makro replacing us with a minimum equivalent of the TV, they have stooped to saying that the way Samsung measures TVs has changed and that they are not obliged to replace with a minimum equivalent. <br> <br> Makro's apathetic post sales service has meant that I have had to liaise directly with Samsung, who immediately replaced my old unit with a new one, delivered to my door (thank you, Samsung!!)<br> <br> Makro have no concern that the warranty purchased on my old TV needs to be transferred to my new TV and have no interest in compensating me for time and money wasted in trying to get the issue sorted out through them.<br> <br> NEVER EVER purchase big appliances at Makro - rather go directly to the supplier as you can be assured of better post sales service.
