Why run online something that is making a loss

I guess i am a sucker for punishment , i have done it again i ordered and guess what already i am getting a refund , like are the staff really lazy to check on orders , like why not substituted the order , is this not a loss from the company , always making refunds , why are they making it an online shop if they keep making refunds , i thought this is convinience , guess i will have to go get the product myself during my lunch break and i am pretty sure i will find it in store .

Lerato from customer service thank you for trying to call the woodmead makro , and try find out why they keep messing up my order when i order this and they make it a cordinal , how do they pack their shelves if they do not know the difference , and i have been placed on hold whilst you can hear that the staff are just talking , when one picks up they put it back to music and continue , as we speak i am on the line for the past 15 minutes , earlier with Lerato was 45 minutes , Lerato thank you for trying to get hold of them , now i am the one calling with no luck. so the phone just goes on and on
