WHY ADVERTISE WITH NO STOCK ESPECIALLY ONLINE

I got a situation here, Makro always advertise a smart watch that I was interested in buying so I did order it online then pay for it including delivery fee. While waiting for my order boom I get a message that it is out of stock and this incident happened twice with the same product. After 5 days you get a refund so I want to know why advertise out of stock products.
