Website indicates stock but no stock
I wanted to purchase a deal advertised on Makro's website. The system indicates there is units left, however when going to the checkout option it advised you that there is no stock available. I called the call centre and was advised that there is problems with the system, however they transferred me to my closest branch. After consulting with the manager he said he still has stock left and that i should try online again. Still experiencing problems with my online purchase I call the call centre again and spoke to the supervisor. He said there is nothing he can do regarding my situation and even refused to call the manager of the store and try to help me out. I have to accept that I don't qualify for a deal that is still available on the website and displays there are still stock left. The store's still have stock left, but no one can help me.
Please accept our sincere apologies for your experience online. Our Cyber Monday sale had an overwhelming response which caused some slow response through the morning and caused the website to react abnormally. All our sale items have limited quantities and we sold out some of our lines a lot faster than anticipated. We unfortunately sold out the Playstation 4 country wide and have no more stock of this consol. Once again please accept our apologies for disappointing you.
We unfortunately cannot honour any the deals as we had limited stock and worked on a first come first serve basis.
