Wasting my time and money

I bought a TV from makro online and now the remote is giving me problems. I phoned them and they told me I can go to any makro store to have it replaced. I don't live near a makro so I drove to the closest one today (100km). I go there to be told they can help me a remote is an accessory. How the hell can you operate a smart tv without a remote? So I wasted more than R300 on diesel and toll gates for nothing.
