Warranty means nothing

I bought a Sinotec portable DVD player in December.
The screen started to freeze and I took it back in April, it does have a one year warranty,
they had to sent it to the supplier, which I also am not happy about, because I am Makro's client not Sinotec, I bought the product from Makro, why must I wait till Sinotec comes back with what is the problem and it took 7 day's to get a answer. the answer is that I have to pay R 450 for the repair. I rejected the quote. I went in to the store on Saturday 18/04/15, to advise to collect the product and bring it back I am going on leave 24/04/15 and I want it back before then. Monday I phoned and was advise that they will collect Tuesday, Tuesday I was advise they will collect Wednesday, Wednesday I was advise they are collecting it in the afternoon, Thursday I phoned and was told Sinotec didn't deliver the product. the guy said he will sent a driver in the afternoon to collect. 16:30 they phone me and say Sinotec does not want to release the item before I pay R 150. I am leaving Tomorrow morning and for what must I pay to get my product back that is under warranty?

Most ridiculous i have ever heard or seen.
