Very Poor Service

Good evening On 16 June I selected a cell-phone from an on-line display and paid for it with my bank card. The message I received stated that my order should be delivered within 10 to 14 days. A previous on-line purchase from Makro was delivered well within the period given. On 18 June I received my invoice by e-mail. This prompted me to check the progress with my order on Makro's tracking system. "Packaged" was indicated. Oh great, I thought, should have my phone in a few days. Oh no. On Tuesday 30 June 2020 the 14th day after payment The message on the tracking system was still "Packaged". Thinking this was most likely an error I called the customer care line. The very pleasant young lady informed me that it was not a mistake but the 14 days for delivery is 14 working days which excludes Saturdays and Sundays. Well good so can I expect delivery in one or two days time? "Oh yes" says the young lady. Well if that were so I would not be writing this complaint Two e-mails to Fatima Sithole (Makro Care) and another call to another very friendly young lady at customer care, who said she would "escalate" my query, the message on the tracking system still says "Packaged". What do I do now? Makro this is not how to do business. Most South African business is bending over backward to generate business. I walk through your cyber door and get a virtual kick in the teeth.
