Very frustrating and unprofessional experience with Makro
I ordered 2 winter blankets on their online platform. Paid for both using my card and everything was successful. Closer to the expected delivery date they sent me an email stating that my orders have been cancelled. No reason was given. Now I must wait for them to approve the cancellation, then wait another 14 days or so, as per their email to get my money paid back to my account. Very frustrating and unprofessional from a big store like Makro.

10 Jun 2025, 10:56So Makro team tells me they cancelled the order because they were out of stock but I can see the items I ordered are still being advertised on their website but the price has gone up. Very interesting, I now have an idea of what has happened here.

11 Jun 2025, 13:18Anyway, no more online Makro purchases for me going forward. You cancel orders then keep people’s money for as long as you want. You should have sent back my refund immediately after cancelling my order.
