Further to my complaint, i just want to thank Makro for refunding me.

Further, I would also yet again like to thank Simalo and Hlengiwe for the pathetic service, seeing that it saved me a total of R2159. After my complaint, I bought the recliner that I wanted directly from Artisansa for a mere R5400.00 seeing that it was on promotion. How awesome was that?

It is of note to mention that I find it strange that on the Makro Online website the recliner was advertised at a "discounted price" of R7559.00 mentioning a saving of R4000+ (unfortunately the product has been removed from the Makro Online Wesite, thus I cannot give the exact amount which they claimed it was discounted for - but it was R4000+ at the time) and Artisansa advertised the same product for R5400.00 with a saving of R1350.00,

I would definitely advise any consumer to do their homework before purchasing online. And another tip - always research a company on Hello Peter, if I did this before placing my online order I would have noticed that on Hello Peter the reviews received to date, rating one star - equals poor services - is that of 18 695.

Never the less, I saved a total of R2159.00. I guess the poor service received from the two aforementioned employees was in actual fact a blessing in disguise.
