Unacceptable

I went to makro port Elizabeth on the 2nd of October to buy a Dstv explorer 2 without installation and then it worked fine but after a few days it did give me problems so i called Dstvs call center and they done some trouble shooting with me and said the decoder is faulty and seeing that it's only 2 weeks old I should take it back to makro and get a exchange for a new decoder so I called makro before I went to the sore and spoke to a lady who told me I should 1st go to a Dstv agency and they should test the decoder and if it's faulty they can exchange it for me or give me a note that says it's faulty and I explained to the lady at the makro store over the phone as this decoder is only 2 weeks old and giving problems I would like a refund and she said I can't get one and I did go to the Dstv agency and even when they did test the doceder and saw it was faulty they said that they only have refurbished decoders and it would be pointless giving me a refurbished dcoder and mines only 2 weeks old and they said they can't right out a note because that's not how it works because if the decoder was still a whole 30 days old they would have give me a note but because you did pay it on the 2 of October and it's not even the end of October I actually can get a refund form Marko without this of them needing a note and stuff that's what the dstv agency told me and they even did remove the decoder form my name so I could get a refund but the Marko store in port Elizabeth is not wanting to help me Please help and tell me what to do
