*****ulent advertising

Makro falsely advertises online purchases. Saw speakers online for 599 for a pack of 2 speakers as per specifications and product description. There was a a picture of the speaker at 575 each. Before ordering i called the call centre and confirmed the price amd if it will be for 1 speaker or two speakers. The consultant confirmed the error is the picture, the item. Is on special for 599 for two speakers and i will recieve 2 speakers not 1.

Guess what i recieved only 1 sepaker...

Now im asked to log a return with the reason missing / damaged item... So they can query it and respond now they process the return instead of confirming when i will recieve the outstanding 1 speaker and saying its a third party error they will return and refund.

I dont want a refund

There return policy says nothing abt missing items frm third party suppliers Further more makro is falsely advertising items under thier name and now refuing to take responsibility and blaming third parry. . Both your ad and consultant was wrong. Consumer advertising law states you must sell what u advertise, stop misleading people... If ur ad is incorrect delete and readvertise.

Im still infact awaiting a response bcz you cant get through to an online manager

Please kindly use your discretion to first identify the adverts that are not advertised correctly and have them removed, further also train the staff to inform us after looking at the advert and confirming.
Instead of using ur discretion to cancel an order. Use ur discretion ion and first advertise correct information or take down and add and post it correctly.

What is posted it what should be given to the customer as per law and to uplhold the name of ur company to provide a full service
