Treated like a ******** because I work in Retail

I had the worst experience at Makro and never again will I got back there.

I was treated like a ******** and told that I need to cooperate since I work at another retailer. 2 of the items I got were not scanned at the tills and I was told I cannot leave , I offered to pay for the items but I was told to wait for the supervisor as I waited I also explained that I was running late and on my lunch break. The 2 security gaurds told me I should be ashamed of myself and why am I acting like that when I work at another retail store. I asked what did that have to do with anything and they continued to giggle and laugh as the head of security looked at them and did not say anything.

I have never in my life been treated like this, with this treatment I ended up leaving my groceries, I called their customer service which was the worst customer service ever they told me they can't get ahold of the store when I asked for the matter to be escalated, I could hear the supervisor shouting in the back " She must go back go to the store what does she expect us to do" I have never seen such in my life. This happened 1 Sep 2022 and no one has gotten back to me about my refund when I call to follow up on my refund I am told they tried to call me but they couldn't reach me. I don't understand why they treated me like this and why my issue is taking forever to resolve. I feel this is because I wore my retailer shirt and shopped there. Nothing about the service was right. From the cashier having a terrible attitude, the supervisor walking away instead of helping and the worst customer service.

I will never set my foot at Riversands Makro in my life, I'd rather drive to another store even if it is an hour away.
