The most HORRIBLE service and online shopping experience in my entire life!!!!!!

If I could, I would give it a ZERO. I placed an order on 24/01/2025, I received half of my order on 28/01/2025. The other half should have been delivered on 31/01/2025. It is 03/02/2025 and still no nothing on my order, it was packed on 27/01/2025 and to date there has been no new information. I have been told so many stories, the courier was collecting on 30/01/2025, the courier was collecting on 31/01/2025. The order is complete, I didn't pay Makro, I paid the supplier directly. The order can take up to 10 working days to deliver. I have left messages for management to contact me, a supervisor or team leader, nothing, no one contacted me. Then I called the main switchboard for head office. The person answering the phone puts me through to online, then online claims they cannot hear me, but when I ask can you hear me, I get "Yes" or "No" how do you answer a question but cannot hear the rest of the call? Then let's not talk about the time you have to wait for a refund....10 days, working days.

So, you have to make immediate payment, deal with all kinds of excuses, stories and lies, generic tactics to pacify and the like and then you have to wait for your refund only to deal with more of the same.

When is someone going to do something about the HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE service we have to deal with from Makro....I must say, they are in league with the government, Home Affairs and SARS provide a better service than Makro.

You cannot shop in the store, because the queing time is almost 2 hourse sometimes and then you have to wait for the cashiers to stop talking to the packers and then be looked at with distain because how dare you interrupt their conversation by coming to pay for your goods and they are doing you a favour working there.

Apparently, the staff at Makro from head office right throught to the ganitor is doing their CUSTOMERS a favour by actually doing their work, they don't get paid for it and we are an inconvenience to them and their sociallising AT WORK!!!!
