TERRIBLE SERVICE AT MAKRO WOODMEAD

WHAT A BAD EXPERIENCE FROM MAKRO WOODMEAD! I am so disappointed in the service received from Makro Woodmead. I went to the electronics department to buy a Playstation4 for my son, and was told that they are out of stock..mind you that was after waiting 30mins to be assisted. On op of it all, I was with my 13yr old and 2yr old in the store. Their service is TERRIBLE. The consultant who eventually helped me - didn't get his name- then proceeded to call another Makro to see if they have the console. I advised him to call hem. He came back after 20mins and he advised me Crown Mines has 3 consoles left.

I then drove to Crown mines from Woodmead, MY TIME, MY PETROL! Only to be told at crown mines Makro that they do not have stock. I have NEVER seen such incompetence, laziness, and unprofessional ism before! How could you make me drive to another store, with a baby and teen only to WASTE MY TIME! The manager and consultant (Sibusiso) at Crown mines were very helpful, trying to understand what happened and if they can get me a console anywhere else. Unfortunately, I had to call game stores and drive to mall of africa to get a brand new console at the same price.

This whole experience left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. I will go to Game first before Mako simply because of service. Service is the backbone of ANY business, and if this is the way to treat your customers, then I'm truly disappointed.

I will be sending this to social media too, and make others aware of my experience.
