Terrible service and stock issues

Went to Makro in Cornubia, Mount Edgecombe, to purchase the Russell Hobbs double airfryer deals @ R1999 (Half way day promo) and was told that there was no stock of the smaller airfryer. I was not offered any alternative, according to their policy. I then asked if there was any substitute to which the person (Kiaan) declined. A 2nd staff member, confirmed that there was still 17 showing on their system, however, they were unable to find that stock. I am really disappointed at the service provided, especially since I drove a long distance to purchase and even left out my remaining purchase of other items due to this. I also asked if they could contact me when they had stock, was bluntly told " I can't help you there"... all questions asked and his response (Kiaan) was "there is nothing that I can do".
