Terrible Service
I placed an order with Makro the 16th of March 2020. The total order was around R400 for delivery to my house. The website says delivery within 2 to 5 working days. Its been 7 working days and Makro has only delivered a tiny portion of my order. I budgeted for this for the lock down. I'm out of funds to buy more groceries. I have been calling Makro for days and their agents keep promising that someone will call me back with feedback, and no one ever does. I'm going to have a hungry lock down!

26 Mar 2020, 10:40Yesterday Makro delivered 2 bottles of Handy Andy. Out of all the groceries I ordered I only received plastic bags, toilet paper, toothpaste, 3 bottles of water, Dustin bags, 6 cans of butter beans.
Just spoke to a consultant and they promised to get back to me today and he promised that my order will be delivered.
So far, all of the agents promises to get back to me and deliver my goods have gone unanswered.
Let's see.... Not very confident.

Reviewer Update

An agent called me last week and promised to be in touch and said that my goods will be delivered during the lock down.
I was counting on my goods arriving, but it looks like I will have to go shopping during lock down because I don't have enough supplies to last me.
The Makro website says that delivery will take place withing 2 to 5 working days. It's been 11 working days and still waiting for Makro to deliver the balance of my stock.
Part of my order is baby cereal, nappies and other basic food supplies.
Makro have messed up my lockdown preparations!!!!
