Take your money, then advise no stock, then wait 3-5 days for your refund..
Purchased a laptop online at Makro. Took my payment, but a day later cancelled the order. Now I have to wait 3-5 working days for my refund. This is not the first time. The laptop was about R 17k, and since its an urgent purchases, I dont have funds to pay for another one from another company. Be rest assured, I have learnt my lessons - I will not shop at your company ever again...

29 Jan 2026, 15:25With all due respect - this happened to me in October 2025 and you said the same thing then...gee whiz - it takes months to implement i guess. Really poor customer experience

Currently on my Makro online orders profile, it say the refund could take till 17/02...now that would be going the extra mile - but i guess you dont understand what that means Makro...

30 Jan 2026, 10:34Hi - The oder number : OD***. Please note that the order under my profile currently states that the refund would be to my credit card by the 17th of Feb - which is totally unacceptable. I require my fund today so I can purchase another one at another company. Thanks
