Stay away from Makro online!!

I purchased an Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 Smart Pressure Cooker from Makro online on May 15, 2025, with a promised delivery date of May 22. However, on the evening of the 22nd, I received an SMS informing me that my order had been cancelled without any explanation. When I called on May 23 to find out what happened, I was told that the supplier was out of stock and that I would receive a refund within 7–14 days.

Despite this, Makro is still advertising the same product on their website, although they now claim it’s from a different supplier. I bought the product from Makro, not directly from any of their suppliers, and the replacement price is now R3299 instead of the R1299 I originally paid. This feels highly *********. They are refusing to honour my order, and I am extremely disappointed with their service. I will not be supporting them again.
