STAY AWAY FROM MAKRO: ****

I made an online purchase on 9July for a washing machine. I received confirmation that my order will be delivered in 2-5 days. After a day I got an email that my goods will be delivered on 13 July. Fast forward to today (17July) I'm still waiting. When I check order status online it shows "Handed to courier" I contacted the courier service (WumDrop) only to be told they had an issue while picking up my order at the store but they will rebook my order for delivery and send confirmation when my order is on its way and I'm still waiting. Also note that I was told about the pick up issue only after I've made contact. Prior to this I was in the dark, none of the parties made contact.

I sent an email and logged a request online but all that fell on deaf ears. Makro has not reached out or send any form of communication to indicate they are trying to resolve this issue.

I have been a loyal customer for years, but after this I don't think I will trust them again. This is bad customer experience. I am even thinking of requesting for a refund but there's also bad reviews around that.

I hope other customers will visit this platform to read reviews before they use Makro's online just to save themselves a headache.
