Stationery not delivered but online says delivered.

I have ordered stationery online and the day they were supposed to deliver i was not around, i asked the courier to reschedule but they took it back to Makro, now Makro claims it was delivered to me and school is opening tomorrow. i need a number where i can escalate this because all the ones that were delivered were small items, the one they are holding is the biggest order and i dont have money to buy again. I am very frustrated, I dont understand why they would say delivered to me when it is clearly with them!!!
