Spoiled foods

I have recently purchased groceries at Makro Germiston and thus far I have had a terrible experience with their meat products. 4 of different meat items have spoiled, I still have receipts of the purchases and most of the meats in my fridge, ones I wanted to prepare had already thrown the packaging out but last pack I attempted I kept. Now I'm only getting excuses and apologies but no mention of refunding and compensation for all my wasted petrol, time, and money , and possibility of harming the health of my family.

PS, these meat products have not even met their best before or sell by dates.
