***sist and Bad service at Makro Strubens valley

I can not believe the lack of service and manners at the Strubens valley Makro, in their large appliance section. I went in on Saturday to try and buy a fridge/freezer firstly there was no one on the floor, when I did find someone I was told not my department so he would not help me. After about 30 minutes I finally found someone how was prepared to help me (a single white woman on her own) only after all the other couples had been served. I can not understand why the staff were so rude and so dismissive of me, just because I did not have a man by my side. If I did not have get a fridge/freezer with such urgancey I would have actually left the shop. I am very dissapointed in the service I received or should I say the service I did not receive. I do not think I will ever go back to that Makro and I will certainly urge my friends not to go there. I can not believe that in this day and age staff can still be so ***sest towards woman, I felt as if the staff believed I knew nothing just because I am a woman.
