Shocking Service Makro Online

Makro Online portal advertises a R70 delivery charge anywhere but with three limitations. Liquor, Groceries and BULK PUCHASES. I attempted to purchase 1(ONE) Ryobi generator and once proceeding to checkout, the delivery charge was R210-00. I sent 2 emails to their contact email requesting clarification (after 5 days- NO RESPONSE) I then called the contact number and spoke to Thabang Maitse and was told that my purchase is BULK. Makro is a BULK supplier - meaning in LARGE quantities, not meaning they trade in LARGE items only. My item may be BULKY (Large and cumbersome?) but I think the description on their advert is misleading to say the least.

I just received the following email, from the person who told me the reason above. Good day Sir I did manage to confirm the delivery fee The delivery fee of 70 rand is not available for commercial client or business clients The delivery is only available if one uses a personal Makro profile to purchase items online Kind regards What NONSENSE - The banner advert says NOTHING in this regard. This is going from the sublime to the ridiculous.
