Beware of Buying from Makro. They are a bunch of ******

I bought a fridge and a microwave online on the 13th of March. Firstly we were called to say that they cant find our address in Pretoria, despite the address on my profile clearly showing Pinetown. Eventually we got the microwave and not the fridge. To date this has not been delivered.

We have called multiple times. We are always placed on hold and then either get told someone will come back to us or they just hang up. To date no one has had the decency to come back to us to let us know what is going on with our delivery.

I find it disgusting that such a company cannot make a simple delivery or even have the decency to communicate with us should there be an issue. I was mailed by a lady called Edwina Smith at 8:50 on the 27 March asking for my contact number so that she can contact me. I find this rather amazing as my cell phone number is on my profile with Makro. regardless she never called me. The response I eventually got from Edwina was a mail to someone else asking them to contact me. To date that has till not happened.

I have mailed Makro Care ( should be Makro dont Care ) to only get a response at the end of the day only that was of no help.

"We thank you for your email. Please be advised that we have received your email and we are attending to your request. Hope you find the above in order and apologies for any inconvenience caused."

I have also emailed Massmart directly with my complaint. I must say that I am not surprised that even they didn't have the courtesy to respond either

Up to now no Fridge, no response or explanation.

Please beware of Makro. They are *****, bull****ters and *******.

STAY AWAY People.

I doubt if I will ever get my Fridge from them, but that's an issue for my attorneys.
