Selling Treadmills without keys and no help

I purchased a treadmill, marked down on Sunday the 3rd May. I was told that it was marked down because it was the end of range stock. The treadmill was outside on display. The original price was R6999 and I purchased it for R4999.<br> Upon getting home I realized that the reason why it was marked down was because it was scratched all over (deep gashes). This did not bother me as I had received a discount. Staff however should not have said it was because of an end-of-range sale, but rather because it was damaged. I then saw that there was no key present and the treadmill does not work without the key.<br> I returned to the store and was told that it was discounted because there was no key and that I should contact Trojan for the key. I told the sales man that it is unacceptable and that it was not my responsibility to contact the supplier for the key. I was then told that they would organize it for me and call me back.<br> I have not had a response. I cannot use the treadmill that I paid R4999 for.
